Resources for Here + Now

A few resources to share, useful anytime perhaps, though particularly for this unprecedented time.

Jill Miller and co’s epic article on the vagus nerve is very good, full of short, accessible experiential exercises that can help soothe a potentially frazzled nervous system.

Mike Hamm has been facilitating weekly online classes on facebook live that are excellent. I’ll refer you in particular to “Bodywork as Restoration Ecology.” I loved and got a lot out of it.

(Both Jill and Mike have been guests on TBA.)

Lastly, Charles Eisenstein’s article on our current situation, beautifully titled “The Coronation,” is the first, and perhaps only, piece I’ve read about the coronavirus that I deeply resonated with, as much for its questions as its assertions.

It is a long article. If you’d prefer an audio version, Charles himself reads it here.

Right now my computer is uploading a conversation I had with Sage Hayes. I’ll send a post when it’s up, probably tomorrow.
